Approach to Mediation

Mediation is an interest based process. Total neutrality as to outcome is paramount. It is crucial to spot the settlement potential in a dispute. Even a small amount of such potential can be tapped to realize an optimum result for the parties.

The processes employed include interest probing, risk assessment, challenging assumptions and alternative canvassing.

The process involves utilizing the momentum generated by bringing people together with full authority to settle.

At the request of the parties, early neutral evaluation can be offered.

All mediations are held in a climate of strict confidentiality.
